What To Do If Something Bad Happens!?

  1. Make sure your family, pets, and property are safe and secure!
  2. If there's ANY question, shut off gas and water to your house.
  3. Turn on an FRS Radio to channel 9 (no privacy tone) or your neighborhood frequency.
  4. Check in to or open up a neighborhood FRS Net (see Sample Script)
  5. If you're a ham, turn on your emergency ham rig ... if not, try to connect to a designated neighborhood ham through your FRS net.
  6. Hams: Check in to or Start City Resource Net on City Simplex Frequency (See sidebar)
  7. Stay with your family/neighbors unless specifically deployed by request from City Resource Net Control.
